That’s a great link. Perfect ideas on how to get blade angles on the fly. A friend of mine gave me a GATCO system years ago. This will hold 5 different angles from 11 to 25 but too bulky for a BoB.

A good article, that. I generally use a flat diamond steel. Properly used, it will put a razor edge on a blade with minimal effort. For a finer edge, I generally use a leather belt. When I was a kid, it was always a matter of pride between us redneck boys as to who had the sharpest pocketknife 🙂
