If you follow my blog you know that I am somewhat of a fitness freak, partially because I believe that it will be a huge advantage once T-SHTF and because it has always been part of my daily routine. I want you to know that as much as I harp on eating right and exercising I do take time to “cheat” and you should too. Man cannot live on bread alone and we should be allowed to divert from the plan once in a while (in my opinion). Yesterday I had a massive double cheeseburger and fries while out for dinner, it was amazing in all of its greasy goodness. Today it’s back on track but every once and a while it’s nice to embrace the “dark side” of food.

PJ: I have always thought that there is no good/clean way out of this mess, my impression being that once the printing presses start rolling at the pace they are (to sustain this false prosperity) that they simply cannot stop. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.

PJ: Carnage on Wall St here in 2013? The chart is pretty compelling but of course it is just speculation. If this does happen many retirement accounts will be hacked to pieces, leaving those who put all of their faith (and money) in a 401(k) in a bad way.
